Katungi Wilson, professionally known as Katson K Music, is a dynamic Ugandan artist born on October 18, 2002, in Isingiro District, Uganda. His upbringing in Isingiro, a region with a rich cultural heritage, played a significant role in shaping his artistic identity. From an early age, Katungi demonstrated a strong passion for music and storytelling, participating in school performances and local cultural events. Katungi received his secondary education at Ntanda College School in Butambala District, where he studied electroengineering. His background in engineering has given him a unique approach to music production, allowing him to incorporate innovative techniques and methods in his craft. Currently, he is a student at Makerere University in Kampala, one of Uganda’s most prestigious institutions, where he continues to develop both academically and artistically.

In 2022, Katungi made his official entry into the Ugandan music scene with the release of his debut single, “Tujjakubikola.” The song was well received by audiences, earning him recognition and encouraging him to continue pursuing music professionally. Since then, he has gone on to release additional tracks such as “Winner” and “Webale,” each carrying a unique message of resilience, gratitude, and self-belief. His music blends genres including soft RnB, urban Zuku, gospel, and inspirational music, creating a sound that is both modern and deeply emotional.
