My name is Keith Akera, I sing gospel music. I focused on how the western world do their gospel and just translated the style into an exotic Ugandan tune.

I never dreamed of being a professional musician in the first place despite my love for music. My plan was to just sing in church and that would close the chapter.

My songs were written and sung in the confines of my immediate surrounding. Something happened in that I realized I had a calling to sing and when I decided to go to the studio my work was admired by the producers.

I recorded my first song “Tukuyimusa” with GODBEATS STUDIO AFRICA. I use my Music to worship and praise God and if you would ask me why I am singing I would say “GOD”. It’s a God given assignment.

My music is a product of being in the presence of worship and prayer to God. Songs just keep flowing in my soul.

I am currently working on my last songs for the Albam TUKUYIMUSA.
