Lighter Layita is a Ugandan Afrobeat / Dancehall artist. he was born in Kampala District.He grew up in a Kampala suburban known as Makindye. His passion for music started in the early 19s atfer his secondary Level where he often participated in a load of Afro music battles and never loosing any of them and this inspired him and his friends to pursue music further,his under  Automatic Music Entertainment
