Kagawa Fred , popularly known as Matt Gien, is a Ugandan RnB artist. He was born in Kamuli District, Uganda on 27 February 2000.

Early life

The 6th of eleven siblings attended Namwendwa Primary School  for his primary, St. Peters’ SSS Namwendwa for his ‘O’ Level.

Career

Matt Gien started music at school miming. he later went to studio in 2019 and this saw the release of his first studio song titled ‘Kirabo’ Produced by Busoga’s Sensational Producer and Musician Romeo Beats at D*Tunez. This song went viral and it brought him to limelight.
