Mellow Planta also known as Meddie MUNABI .He is a long time performing artist, composer/writer, Singer and actor.Who's breakthrough happened on 2004 in the 4 award winners trio,Eastworld(Fooda).

He composed and sang a number of songs for the group including Fooda(motoka enkaire),Kanambeya,and many others as well as being the trio's leading vocalist whose presence during production was so Paramount for the success of their projects.

Mellow Planta was a music student at Kiira college Butiki where completed his high school after six years and Joined Kyambogo University where he graduated twice in Science and Education.

He is a husband to one and a biological father of three children . A family is living around Kampala.

Recent releases include afro beat  ''Official girl(mpenzi was nyumbani) done with Page and reggae Trac "Take me as I am ".

His brain is  diversified,who does a lot more than just music.
