Mr. Trem, born Allan Derrick Ndugga in Kampala, Uganda, in 2001, is an Ugandan singer-songwriter . After starting his career in choir music and writing, he transitioned to songwriting, penning songs for artists like Jemi Rocks, Oma Afrikana, Eddy Kenzo and many more. He  launched his singing career in 2023 with an heart break song called Damaged , becoming known for his Afrobeats style that blends Luganda and English.  
 
Early Life and Career Beginnings
  • Songwriting:
    Inspired by his experiences, he started writing songs as a hobby in 2020. This evolved into a profession, and he wrote for prominent Ugandan artists.
     
  • Education:
    He received his early education at Mityana Parents Primary School and later attended Light Sec and Voc sch Bulenga and Lugoba High School. He also attended Tiner International School, earning a Diploma in Journalism and Mass communication. 
     
Rise to Stardom
  • Joining Jawu records:
    He was discovered by Jawu management while delivering songs he wrote for other artists and later made the in house writer for the quality he expressed.
     
  • Debut and Debut Album:
    Mr. Trem debuted in 2023with his first single "Damaged" , followed, achieving significant popularity and earned him a writing name and exposure.
