Niwe Ben grew up in Mbarara city. He is Ugandan by Birth. His real name is(Benjamin Kasoke). He grew up in a Godly home with his father as a church Pastor. This environment was serene for his musical desires as he was part of Church activities like playing guitar,piano and being part of the church choir. He listened to gospel music,soul and RnB. Niwe Ben started as a deejay in 2017 in various clubs and hangout places in Mbarara city. In 2020 his oldest brother (Gun Pro) taught him a little of the skills of music production. He later on begun with a collaboration titled "Egi Season"together with his buddy Amb Roy which is a dancehall hit in Mbarara city in 2021.
