The Ministry of Internal Affairs has been tasked to present a report to Parliament, on the circumstances surrounding incidents of mob justice in the country.

Police have arrested three suspects in connection with the death of Stanbic Black Pirates rugby player Sydney Gongodyo, who died after an alleged mob assault in Kampala. Funeral arrangements for the 27-year-old have also been announced.
