Kalungi Paul also known as Paul Klip started composing during his infancy after getting inspiration from his elder peers who had made it a habit to make funny songs about their comrades. Though ideologically immature to make great lyrics at six years he had composed a song about load shedding in his country which he named Gasudeyo and held a concert in November 2006 at his school.

Throughout his young age he made it a habit to learn every song he listened to which surprised his peers, hence calling him a music genius. He joined the Namilyango junior school choir in 2004 and qualified for national competitions twice, 2004 and 2007 being champions in the latter.

He joined Namilyango college for high school in 2008 where he composed several morale giving songs that were always used by the crowd during inter school rugby matches. He participated in the college Mr. Vocal competition throughout the four years reaching finals twice.

In 2012 he joined Makerere college school where he wrote an anthem for Simba and Kabalega house during the 2013 MAPA competitions.

In 2014 he studied a diploma in music production at ESOM School of music earning a certificate of competence as a music producer.

 In 2015 he partnered with a friend called Ian and formed a record label called Techio chiefs popularly known as Techio records, he was the producer and hence earned a lot of experience in regards to music business.

Paul is a great academician as he holds a bachelors of Science degree in human nutrition from Makerere University, he graduated in January 2018.
