Shintah ug is a Ugandan artist born in 2004 in Butende village,kamuli municipality.

She was born as Nakato Mary to a  family of Mr Lutalo a music  teacher 

Shintah went to Kiige primary school before joining  Kamuli progressive college for her  O level 

She  is a designer and videographer as she mainly does in Afro Beats and Zouk music 

She  is more known for  her first single titled Idha Ogunige
