Asiimwe Linate a.k.a. Skyler256 is a Ugandan artist, songwriter born October 30th, 2002, in Kabale, Kigezi Region Uganda but later moved to Bushenyi District.  Skyler256 has come through Dancehall music.

She is a highly versatile dancehall  artiste who can as well feature in the Afro genres.  Skyler256 grew up in Kabale district, where she was raised by her grandmother, and began singing in church as a child. The vocal talents of Skyler256 have been noted since her humble beginning.

Skyler256 outlook is lifting Western Ugandas music to the national and international level and the achievement has been registered.
