Sacred Gospel Choir BRICOSS

Formation and Overview

Sacred Gospel Choir is a Ugandan choir formed at Bright Comprehensive Secondary School in Maddu - Gomba in 2019. Commonly referred to as SGC, the choir comprises students aged 13 to 19 years who are dedicated to praise, worship, and creating motivational and educational music. The choir's mission is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and uplift the community through their musical talents.

History

The Sacred Gospel Choir BRICOSS was established in 2019 under the leadership of Dr. Nsamba Peter, a director of Bright Comprehensive Secondary School. Initially known as Nsanakimu Gospel choir, to Vision Gospel choir and finally was re-branded to Sacred Gospel choir to on April 3, 2026.

In pursuit of professional growth and visibility, the choir signed a record deal with Mrs. Suzan Mukaabya, based in Kampala, Uganda. This partnership provided them with the resources and expertise necessary to produce high-quality music and gain broader exposure.

Major Performances and Breakthroughs

Following their performance, the choir gained popularity on various social media platforms, where they shared videos of their rehearsals and performances, thereby connecting with fans and supporters globally. The engagement on social media helped propel their music to international audiences, enhancing their reputation as an emerging choir with a strong mission.

Music Background and Discography

The choir's musical journey began with the release of their debut studio album titled Bright Ssomero Lyange album, which features ten tracks all written by Mrs Suzan Mukaabya:

The album reflects a Ugandan RnB/ Dancehall musical style and was semi-launched on June 11, 2020. The album was well-received, resonating with audiences for its uplifting messages and melodic compositions.

the choir's second album NAJJA LWAKI consists of 10 tracks namely:

Omutanda, Munyenye Yaffe, Gyenvudde waffe, Tuwangudde, Tuli Mulugendo among others
