Sun Rapper EA, born on 5th August 2004, is a Ugandan Afro-rapper and songwriter from Mbale City, Eastern Uganda, currently based in Kampala.

He was born and raised by his grandparents, friends and the streets. His education journey was cut short after Senior Six due to lack of school fees, but his music dream never stopped.

His passion for music was inspired by his uncle, Trigo Kings, who was a musician. While in Senior One and Senior Two, Sun Rapper EA used to perform his uncle's songs at school, which sparked his own desire to sing.

He officially started his music career at Nkoma Secondary School, Mbale, from S.2 to S.6. His breakthrough came with his first single "MAZINA", which he recorded on an instrumental and went viral in Mbale City.

After completing S.6, he moved to Kampala to start a new life and pursue music professionally. As a ghetto youth from the slums hustling to build his future through music, he represents every talented young Ugandan with a dream but no sponsor.

He is known for songs like MAZINA, Tukyikuba ,Bala Bala,Solid and ENERGY. His stage name SUN means hope — that even if you are born in darkness, you can still shine.
