While at  Galaxy Senior Secondary School  , Namusisi met and became friends with Betina namukasa, another female Ugandan performing artist who was attending the college at the same time.

Music career

According to Namusisi, she has always had a passion for singing since her childhood and always strove to make this talent a bigger part of her life. Her first major attempt at success in the music industry came in 2015 when she joined Da New Eagles, as the group Da New Eagles, and "Brianbeats"  as studio arranger/keyboardist,[1] helping release a series of singles including the group's hits]"Mutima", "Mukwano", "Mapenzi", early 2017. Her own first single "Defender" also appeared on the group's subsequent album to great acclaim. Soon afterwards, she had her first stage appearance in February 2018.[2]

However, Namusisi did not achieve widespread success until 2018 when she released her album Mapenzi?.[4] This marked the beginning of her fast rise to be one of the female vocalist in Uganda.

Personal life

Namusisi is married to ubiru Sadam, a ugandan man, and together they have a daughter named Ranikah Trish Namirembe.[6] She is fluent in English, French,Kiswahili and Luganda, her native tongue. She balances her career between her family in Uganda, where she lives, and Uganda, where most of her music fans reside.
