Since 2003 Via Kalikwani has been performing, producing and collaborating with some of the biggest artists in Uganda. The PAM Award Eastern Artist of the Year is well known for his hits Mukwano Gwekubo, Tolofaina, Employer, Tibakugwira, Musengwa Jaja, Never Search Again and Amanda, which cut across ragga dancehall, afrobeat and his unique "wicked flow".
