J power music is comprised of a singing duo (Don jozy and Julius K) also known as Ngobi Joseph and Isabirye Julius respectively. They were all born in the year 1996 in Kamuli a district in Busoga sub region in Eastern Uganda.

J power music was formed following their names Julius and Joseph as with a common letter J describing their aspirations to form the group.

They started singing by picking inspiration from a known singing duo of goodlyfe crew comprised Radio and Weasel.They are both song writers.
