Former MUK Guild President Ms Anna Adeke Ebaju was on Monday 7th decared the winner of the National Female Youth MP elections that were held at Kontik Hotel in Hoima town.

She was declared winner by the Midwestern regional returning officer Iddi Kaahwa after beating two others in the elections that included NRM’s Ann Ruyondo Lumumba who got 119 votes and Marcelina Busomoke who polled 87 votes with Adeke pulling 128 votes.

Adeke, 24, is a holder of a bachelor's degree in laws of Makerere University, served as a prefect in secondary school and guild president at Makerere University between 2013 and 2014.

Adeke promises to advocate for increased funding for youth councils, lobby for increased entrepreneurship training for youth using government grants.
