Bobi wine as the chief car washer on Saturday was disappointed when few people turned up for the charity event contrary to what he expected after massive campaign on social media.
The car wash event which was organized by the Bobi Wine in partnership with Pan-African Pyramid and the boy’s mother was aimed at raising money for the one year old Eriam Muwonge who has a hole in his heart awaiting operation at Mulago hospital.
The few people that attended the event included Bobi’s family, Galaxy fm, the Fire base crew and some few people and of which six million (6,000,000SHS) was raised as they washed cars for 50,000shs, bikes for20, 000sh and 10,000shs.
All in all, the campaign is still ongoing since most of the money is still needed for the boy to have the operation. Let’s hope more well-wishers will come up and help.
