Early this year, Pastor Bugingo bought some assets of Voice of Toro Radio, however, it was not clear what percentage he had bought.
Over the weekend, snoops landed into papers that detailed how the pastor has added VOT among his companies. He also owns Salt FM and Salt TV. Pastor Bugingo’s humble beginning cannot be traced well but the little we got to know is that he started his pastoral journey from Kisoro.
Bugingo has been a household name for the last two weeks as he publically burnt bibles that had some verses he claims to be satanic. Many religious members have come out to attack him and have demanded an apology.
While appearing on NBS TV, Pastor Male warned the whole country that we are yet to see another Kibwetere in Pastor Bugingo. He was quoted saying “the burning of bibles by Pastor Bugingo was equal to what Kibwetere did. Ugandans should be careful as we are yet to see another Kibwetere in Bugingo”.
