Musician Dr Bitone who is contesting as a councilor in Makindye division explained that musicians like Aganaga and Chameleone were denied National Unity Platform( NUP) tickets because they lack potential to lead the electorates.
While appearing on a local television station, Bitone described the musicians as political amateurs.
“Musicians should know that they could not get cards on account of being friends with Bobi Wine or being artistes,” he explained while talking about disgruntled musicians who were denied NUP tickets.
He added that, “Most of those who didn’t get the ticket don’t have potential. For example, If I was the one in charge, I would also not give Aganaga a ticket.”
Bitone was lucky to get the ticket for the post he is vying for.
He describes himself as an exemplary leader who will help his people to get better services from government.
