Sipapa Denies Beating Security Officer in Kampala

Socialite and NRM supporter Sipapa was captured on camera on Monday exchanging blows with one of the security officers at King Fahad plaza in downtown, Kampala.

But later, he denied beating up the officer and insisted he was only teaching him how to handle people.

Sipapa explained that he was wrong not wearing a face mask in public but the officer shouldn't have abused him.

"I didn't beat anyone as it was alleged; I was telling the officer to respect us as citizens of this country. I am sorry for not putting on a mask and that would have been handled better than insulting me," he partly said in an interview with local television.
