Racheal Magoola rocked the Ugandan music industry with her hit single “Ombagaina” in the early 2000s.
The veteran singer who hails from the Busoga region was also a renowned Afrigo Band member.
Magoola contested for Bugweri Woman MP on NRM ticket emerged victorious after beating FDC flag bearer, Babirye Sarah in the results announced on Saturday evening.
The “Ombagaina” hitmaker will join other entertainers like Hillary Kiyaga alias Dr. Hilderman and Geoffrey Lutaaya in Parliament.
