Dancehall musician King Micheal has been serving as the dancehall representative on the board of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA).
Micheal is, however, not among those vying for new posts. He says his decision is guided by the need to concentrate on music.
“It is about time my fans get new music. I have an album I’m working on and it will be my return to the top,” he says
“The only thing I have benefited from is the respect and legacy. It will forever be known that I served on the UMA board,” he adds.
King Micheal says working for UMA comes without pay, but people think it is profitable.
