Last year, band artist Catherine Kusasira was pelted with bottles by fans during her performances for supporting the ruling government.
Discussing the incident, the singer claimed she is one of the most loved artists in Uganda.
She explained her career has been running for almost twenty years and she still attracts thousands of revelers to her concerts. She was not shaken by such events.
She blamed her enemies for paying hooligans to disorganize her shows.
"I am the most loved artist in the country. Those who threw bottles at me were hooligans paid by my haters. I have been performing for years and this is because I have a strong fan base," she explained.
She made the remarks during an interview with local television.
