Moses Lubuurwa alias Luba events dragged the 'Tweyagale' singer to court in November after his successful 'Eddy Kenzo festival', accusing him of breaching a contract they had agreed upon of organizing the Festival. Luba explained that he had incurred a loss of 800m which he had invested in the festival in 2020.
Kenzo was temporarily banned from performing in the city before the ban was lifted by the court.
In a recent interview, Kenzo confessed that Bebe Cool helped him to overcome his challenges with Luba Events.
Kenzo said Bebe Cool connected him to lawyers who handled his case.
“He called me and asked me how he can help. He didn’t want to see me frustrated. He is a real guy and true friend,” he said.
Kenzo and Bebe Cool became friends after the former got closer to the NRM party, a political wing Bebe Cool supports.
