Bobi Wine is one of the 'big three' musicians that have been active in the Ugandan music industry for over two decades.

According to radio and TV presenter Kasuku, based on the hit songs dropped in the late 2010s, Bobi Wine had become weaker than the other two, Bebe Cool and Chameleone and that is the reason he chose to join politics.

“Bobi Wine could not compete musically, he had failed and that is the reason he decided to join politics,” he said.

Other music critics like Eddie Ssendi have always downplayed Bobi Wine’s musical abilities compared to the other two.

Bobi Wine is currently one of the top opposition leaders in the country. His former career as a musician is now a hobby.
