The President of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), Cinderella Sanyu aka Cindy believes that despite being the leader of musicians in the country, she doesn't have to be friends with every Tom and Jerry in the industry.
She explained in a statement on social media that many of the people in the industry are evil and they don't wish others well. She is confident that you can succeed even without friends.
"I believe you don't have to be everybody's friend to succeed. Some people are evil (especially in the music industry)and breaking ties with them might just save your life. To protect my soul, I stay away from many people and that's how I stay sane and happy. This nonsense of being everyone's friend is for kids," she wrote on her social media pages.
Being lonely keeps her mind in a safe space and she doesn't regret having few friends.
