Over the past couple of days, a video of a man whose marriage proposal was publicly rejected by a lady has been trending online.
It has drawn public sympathy with many saying it is unfair for a girl to turn down a man.
Winnie Nwagi has joined in on the conversation saying that she can't do such a thing.
“I’ll rather play it cool and then we sort ourselves after in the most polite way possible,” she said.
“The way women are turning down proposals lately, it is scary. If you don't like the guy like that, at least you can pretend and say yes, then break it down for him after leaving the place but that kind of embarrassment is not nice…so mean actually,” she concluded.
“A guy out there with low esteem will never do it even if he loves his woman, not after all these videos going around," he concluded.
Nwagi says that men will start to hate marriage proposals.
