Alien Skin, the hitmaker behind the song "Sitya Danger," has revealed that he is considering quitting music this year because of the accountability that comes with being a public figure.
In an interview with Urban TV, Alien Skin said that he misses the freedom he had before he was in the spotlight. "There is so much peace in music. I want problems always," he quipped. "Now with me in music, my exploits no longer go according to plan. I need that. When you are a celeb, they expect you to act a certain way. But when you are not, you are free."
Alien Skin also mentioned that he is considering a career in politics. He said that he is starting a political mobilization platform to support his ambitions.
Alien Skin first announced in July that he was thinking about quitting music in December to focus on other things. He posted on social media, "I might even quit music by the end of this year… nga nkola bilala [then I will do other stuff]." He then eliminated the word "might" from his post earlier this month, writing, "I'm quitting music in December."
