Musician Patrick Mulwana, aka Alien Skin, has now reconciled with the Buganda Kingdom.
Late last year, Alien Skin organized the Nkwacho festival, a rival event to the Kabaka's Nkuuka show, which traditionally takes place every 31st of December in the Mengo Palace.
His actions were perceived by many as a direct attack on the Kingdom, leading to heightened tensions between the two camps.
However, over the weekend, while performing at an event in Kampala, Alien Skin met with Buganda's Prince David Kintu Wasajja. The two paused for pictures, symbolizing a sense of unity.
Wasajja is the youngest brother of Muwenda Ronald Mutebi II, the current Kabaka of Buganda.
