Musician Lydia Jazmine has expressed her disappointment with Azawi following derogatory comments made by the Swangz Avenue singer.
Jazmine clarified that she is the one who decides which songs to release first, asserting that this decision rests with her, not the songwriter.
She deemed Azawi's remarks disrespectful and unwarranted.
In response to Azawi's comments, Jasmine stated in an interview with a local YouTuber, "I found her comments to be very disrespectful personally, and I didn't appreciate what she said. I paid for the song to be written, and what I choose to do with it afterward is my prerogative, not the writer's."
Azawi had previously disclosed that she had written several excellent songs for Jazmine but claimed that the latter consistently delayed their release.
"I'm not sure what's going on with Jazmine. I've penned some great music for her, but she keeps them to herself instead of sharing them with her fans," Azawi stated in an interview with Galaxy TV.
