Over the weekend, the family and friends of the late Ivan Semwanga prayed for his departed soul, and his wife Zari also took to social media to pay tribute to her late husband.
Zari explained that she still loves Semwanga even in his absence. She prayed to God for fair judgment on Semwanga.
"Seven years seems like yesterday. May Allah continue resting you in peace. We will always love you," Zari wrote on her Snapchat.
Zari Hassan and Ivan Semwanga shared four children together.
He breathed his last on May 25, 2017. Ivan Semwanga was pronounced dead at Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria, South Africa, where he had been receiving medical treatment after suffering a heart attack.
He died at the age of 39.
