Musician Edirisa Musuuza, aka Eddy Kenzo, is the most celebrated Ugandan musician of all time.

He has won support and fame all over the country and has also crossed borders, reaching as far as the United States of America. He won the first BET award and was the first Ugandan to be nominated for the Grammy Awards.

Speaking about stardom and musicians hiring bouncers for their security, Kenzo disputed the claims that someone who moves with bodyguards is a star.

"Having bodyguards doesn't mean you're a star. Stardom is beyond bodyguards; it goes along with talent and impact," he partly said in an interview with Sanyuka Television.

Eddy Kenzo's comments come amid long discussions about musicians who move with gangs, notably Fik Gaza, Alien Skin, and Mudra.
