Band singer and NRM mobilizer Catherine Kusasira has announced her candidacy for Buikwe Woman Member of Parliament 2026.
Kusasira explained she will be contesting on the NRM ticket and will soon be canvassing for support for her candidacy.
"God see me through 2026-2031 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.." she captioned the campaign poster shared on her Facebook page.
Kusasira has been actively participating in politics for over five years. In the run-up to the 2021 elections, she was very vocal about President Museveni, and she was later appointed as the presidential advisor on Kampala and youth affairs.
