However, he can no longer do so. He finally met someone stronger than himself; he went to his knees and proposed marriage to Malaika.

Speaking about their relationship, the media critic and politician revealed that he has been dating Malaika for over two years, describing these as the most interesting years for him.
Gashumba praised Malaika for being an amazing, responsible, and cultured person with deep love and appreciation for her husband.
"I have been with Malaika for over two years. I have not been single. She is an amazing lady, very loving and responsible," he revealed.
Frank Gashumba was introduced to Malaika Mutoni Patience's parents on Thursday last week at a ceremony that took place at her parents' home in Sembabule District.
At the same function, Gashumba promised to organize a historic wedding for Malaika.
