Comedian Kapere Lufotose was laid to rest on Tuesday in Kiyunga, Mukono District, following his sudden death on Sunday evening.
The burial was attended by family members, politicians and colleagues from the comedy industry, where Kapere had worked for years.
During an interview with the media, Kapere’s family called on women who have children with the late comedian to come forward and bring the children to the family.
The brother of Kapere’s wife, who addressed the press, said the children would be welcomed and raised alongside their siblings.
“I call upon those with Kapere’s children to come forward and bring them to my sister so they can grow together as brothers and sisters. She will raise them, and she has the potential,” he said.
