Musician Maro is a proud Musoga who has traveled the world speaking highly of Busoga as a region and its culture.
The musician, who dubbed himself the R&B Kyabazinga, believes the region was politically neglected by the current government.
He says the region was let down in many ways. He explained its people were neglected and services have long not reached the people on the ground.
Maro is, however, grateful to the people of the region for demanding accountability and says the people are waking up at the moment and demanding what is theirs.
"People are waking up to know Busoga was let down in many ways. They are realizing the region was politically neglected. They are demanding better now than it was before," he explained.
Maro, however, ruled out joining politics at this time, revealing it is not his calling at the moment.
