Earlier this month, musician Stecia Mayanja was elected President of the National Peasants Party and declared her interest in contesting for the country's highest office.
Her declaration did not sit well with a segment of Ugandans, and various individuals have already called her out on the matter.
Among the critics is fellow musician King Saha, who has labeled her "mad," explaining that he believes she is mentally ill and unstable.
"Stecia Mayanja, I think she needs to go for a mental check-up; she must be mentally unstable," he explained. "I don't even want to comment about her, but I'm forced by the actions she is taking."
King Saha added that Stecia Mayanja is not serious about the people's cries. He claims she is merely seeking cash from President Museveni and is not focused on bringing about change in the country.
"She is very unserious. I don't respect her opinion; she is just after Sevo's cash but will turn out to be the biggest joker of the year," he explained.
King Saha believes Stecia Mayanja was brought up by the government to weaken Bobi Wine's influence in the public, but he predicts she will not be successful.
