Celebrated filmmaker and actor John Segawa has set social media ablaze with his latest controversial advice to men — to stay away from single mothers.
Segawa explained that relationships with single mothers often become exhausting because of the many dynamics involved, including the child and the baby daddy.
“Don’t date a woman with a kid. Her heart and attention are always divided between you, the child, and the baby daddy. It’s draining and tiresome,” Segawa said.
His remarks have since sparked a fiery online debate. Some people criticized him for being insensitive and judgmental, while others supported his view, arguing that dating single mothers can indeed be emotionally challenging.
Despite the backlash, Segawa has stood by his statement, insisting that he was only sharing his honest opinion based on personal experience and observation.
