Musician Jowy Landa has clarified that she is still friends with fellow singer Ava Peace, despite the ongoing supremacy debates surrounding who deserves the crown of the new generation’s queen.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Jowy Landa dismissed claims of tension between the two, insisting there is no personal beef or hostility.
According to Jowy Landa, competition in music should not be mistaken for personal hatred, adding that she has no reason to feud with Ava Peace.
“I am still friends with Ava Peace and I have no issues with her at all. Personally, I don’t have any bad blood towards her because there is no reason for that,” Jowy Landa said.
She, however, maintained her stance that she deserves the title of the new generation’s queen, stressing that confidence in her work should not be misinterpreted as disrespect towards others.
Her remarks come shortly after Ava Peace expressed uncertainty about the state of their friendship earlier this week.
“I thought we were friends, but I can’t say the same as of today,” Ava Peace said when asked about her relationship with Jowy Landa.
Despite Ava Peace’s comments, Jowy Landa insists their friendship remains intact and that any competition between them is purely musical, not personal.
