Gospel singer Levixone has shut down swirling rumours that his wife, Desire Luzinda, is expecting a baby after an AI-generated image showing her with a prominent baby bump sent social media into overdrive.

The manipulated photo spread like wildfire across various platforms, with many fans believing it was genuine and flooding comment sections with congratulatory messages for the celebrity couple.

But Levixone quickly poured cold water on the speculation, making it clear that the image was fake and had been created using artificial intelligence.

"The photo itself is AI. I don't know who did it but whoever did it, they might be after something," Levixone said.

His statement has effectively ended the pregnancy rumours while drawing attention to the growing misuse of AI technology to create convincing fake images capable of misleading thousands within minutes.

The incident is the latest example of how artificial intelligence is increasingly being used to spread misinformation about public figures, making it more difficult for fans to separate fact from fiction.

Since publicly confirming their relationship, Levixone and Desire Luzinda have remained among Uganda's most talked-about celebrity couples, with nearly every development in their personal lives attracting widespread public interest.

Following Levixone's clarification, many fans rallied behind the couple, condemning the creators of the fake image and urging social media users to verify information before sharing content online.
