Musician Joshua Baraka has opened up about his decision to part ways with his former management, revealing that his growing ambition pushed him to take greater control of his career.
Baraka explained that the decision came at a crucial point in his career when he felt ready to make his own decisions and shape his musical journey according to his vision.
According to the singer, he wanted more creative freedom while also creating an environment where he could enjoy his work.
“I was at a point of growth and wanted to be in control of my career and how things move. It was time to spread my wings. I want as much creative control as I can. I want to be happy,” he partly said.
Baraka Clears the Air on Jeff Kiwa
The singer also addressed speculation linking him to veteran music manager Jeff Kiwa, clarifying that Kiwa is not part of his current team.
Despite the rumours, Baraka said he has great respect for the experienced music executive.
“No, he is not on my team, but I carry much respect for him,” he added.
