Singer Lydia Jazmine has opened up about her views on love and marriage, revealing that she would have no problem dating a fellow celebrity but would rather settle down with someone outside the entertainment spotlight.
Jazmine explained that dating another artiste could work because both partners would understand the pressures and demands that come with living in the public eye.
“Yes, I would because we are doing the same job,” she said.
“Fame Comes With a Lot of Problems”
However, when it comes to marriage, Jazmine said she would prefer to keep things away from the cameras.
According to the singer, marrying another celebrity could bring unnecessary pressure and public scrutiny, making the relationship more difficult to maintain.
“Getting married to someone in fame is a bit tough. The limelight comes with a lot of problems. So, at this point, I prefer someone who's not in fame. I think that lasts longer and it's more peaceful, with less stress,” she added.
For Jazmine, the ideal marriage appears to be one where she can enjoy some privacy away from the demands of celebrity life.
What Catches Her Eye?
Jazmine also revealed the qualities that initially attract her to a man, admitting that appearance plays a role before she gets to know someone personally.
“On outer looks, before knowing a man, I consider someone looking good, smelling good, and I also look at one's shoes, watch and how you're dressed,” she said.
So while a celebrity might make it onto Lydia Jazmine's dating list, it appears they will have a much harder time making it to the wedding aisle.
