Musician Mikie Wine has ruled out any immediate plans to enter politics, saying he believes leadership ultimately comes from God and that he can contribute to society without holding political office.
Speaking about the possibility of following his siblings into politics, Mikie said the idea is not currently on his mind, although he is not completely closing the door on the future.
“I am not thinking about it right now, but leadership comes from God. I strongly believe that when the time comes, it will happen,” he said.
Mikie also explained that political office is not the only way to create change in society.
He said there are other avenues through which he can make a meaningful contribution, even if he never enters politics.
“But even if that time does not come, there are other things that I can do. I believe I do not need office to change something in society,” he added.
For now, Mikie appears focused on his music career while leaving any possible political ambitions to the future.
