Comedian Madrat has ruled out splitting from his longtime comedy partner Chiko, insisting their relationship goes far beyond their work as a comedy duo.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Madrat described his relationship with Chiko as a brotherhood, saying their families have also embraced the bond they share.
“I don’t see myself breaking up with Chiko. We are brothers, and our relationship is beyond the comedy business. My parents welcome him at home, and vice versa,” he said.
Madrat also revealed that the two have built a strong financial partnership, with both comedians having control over their joint finances.
“Even money cannot separate us because we share the same account and both of us are signatories,” he added.
According to Madrat, the duo’s partnership is not something either of them is considering ending anytime soon.
He said the only likely separation would come when he and Chiko eventually decide to retire from comedy.
