Musician Dax Vibez has revealed plans to quit active music within the next four years and shift his focus to artiste management.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Dax said he believes four more years will give him enough time to accomplish his remaining musical ambitions before stepping away from the stage.
“I want to quit active music in four years. I think those are quite a lot to do whatever I want to do when it comes to making music. I am a better manager, and would be better that way if I take on that route,” he said.
Dax explained that he sees himself as a better fit for artiste management and hopes to use his experience in the music industry to help other musicians build successful careers.
The singer also believes Uganda has many young talents who only need the right support and guidance to reach their full potential.
He says he plans to dedicate his next chapter to discovering, developing and promoting such talents as part of his contribution to the growth of Uganda’s music industry.
