Uganda’s best dancehall artist is rumoured to have been snatched by yet unknown Juba Mafias 20km outside the City Centre, Juba , almost immediately after he had finished his musical performance, a manager said yesterday.
Our sources have told us Ziza Bafana went with his manager to Juba on Monday for a concert. However, at 11pm after his performance, there was a sudden blackout in the whole area for about 15 minutes before authorities put on a generator. --- But it was on this point Ziza Bafana was missing.
A search for him started around the area but to no avail as his phone was switched off. Nonetheless, the manager is still stranded in Juba as he was tipped that Ziza could be in the hands of the Juba Mafia group who always demand ransoms of about 20 Million Uganda shillings.
It should be noted that Ziza Bafana will not be the first singer to abducted in Juba if the rumour is valid. Last year, Khalifa Aganaga was also a victim.
