It is always fun to see pupils from different schools in one venue competing for sports honors. What is more fascinating is that even when the competition spirit is high, the youngsters never lose the fun-side of things.

This is what happened when Kampala Parents School hosted Kisule Primary School, Muto Primary School Buwama and St Catherine Primary School at the inter-schools football, netball and basketball competitions on Wednesday.

In football, Muto Primary School beat Kampala Parents School 4-3 on penalties in the semifinals to set up a meet in the final with St Kisule Primary School who earlier had defeated St Catherine. Muto went on to claim the title with a 2-0 win over St Kisuule.

Daphne Kato, Principle Kampala Parents School, said that sports help strengthen relationships among schools. She added that they are going to have more engagements with other schools because it is among the plans of Kampala Parents School to associate and share with other schools.

Magaret Okwi, Kampala Parents School head of co-curriculum activities explained that such co-curriculum activities build their bodies, skills and relax their minds after many days sitting in classrooms.
