Faded artiste Clever J has opened the lid on why his much-awaited collaboration with Chameleone failed.
Chameleone had promised to do a song with Clever J to revive the latter’s career.
According to Clever J, Chameleone is not easy to work with since their methods don’t blend.
“We went to Ian Pro’s studio to record but Chameleone almost beat me from there. He was not impressed by my style. I would write down lyrics yet he wanted us to do freestyle. I am not good at that and freestyle songs rarely last long,” Clever J said in an interview.
He hopes that one day they will find a way to work with the superstar.
