Some women Learn to  bleach from their mothers - Lydia Jazmine 

Lydia Jazmine is one of the few Ugandan celebrities that has kept her natural skin tone regardless of the trends.

Talking about the increasing trend of bleaching among women, the “Kapeesa” explained that some women are influenced by the environment they are raised in.

Some girls grow around mothers who are addicted to bleaching so it is natural that they copy when they are adults. 

“Sometimes, we blame these people, but the environment people grow up in matters. Most of these girls who bleach learn from their mothers.  If I had been raised in such an environment, I would have changed my color years ago but I am proud of who I am,” she said.
